It has a trading volume of over $43 million since launch, and the most expensive of the collection, goblintown #6485, was sold for 77.75 ETH ($150,923). Goblintown NFTs' minting was free.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For context, the trading volume of blue-chip NFT collections like Moonbirds, CryptoPunks, <\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/bored-ape-yacht-club\/\">BAYC<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Meebits, and Mutant Ape has <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dappradar.com\/nft\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">declined<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by over 50% within the last 30 days.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Unknown developers<\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #383838; font-size: 16px;\">While most NFT project developers are quick to bask in the praise for the success of their projects, it appears that Goblintown developers instead prefer to remain unknown as there is little to no information about the creator(s).<\/span><\/h2>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I bought a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/goblintownwtf?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@goblintownwtf<\/a> for two reasons; 1) I haven&#39;t bought something horrendous in like two weeks. 2) it&#39;s mysterious and weird and rumors are swirling it&#39;s somehow affiliated with yuga? No Discord. No utility.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, instead of focusing on marketing, roadmap, community building, and utility like traditional NFTs, it has done the opposite.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Surprisingly, this novel approach has become the biggest selling point for the Goblintown collection, showing how unpredictable the NFT scene can be.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So far, the project has been working to create an anti-NFT persona.
