Crypto exchange Gemini has suffered a second downtime within the last seven days.<\/p>\n

According to its status page, some systems were currently experiencing outages.\u00a0<\/span>The exchange added that it was “investigating reports of potential service disruptions. All customer accounts and funds remain completely secure. Further updates to follow.”<\/p>\n

Its official Twitter handle revealed that the exchange was entering maintenance mode to investigate an application recovery issue. It added that its team was working to attend to the case.<\/p>\n

On Dec. 16, the exchange was down<\/a> for hours due to scheduled maintenance which was extended for over three hours.<\/p>\n

Gemini experienced<\/a>\u00a0downtime on Nov. 16 due to an Amazon Web Services EBS outage with one of its primary databases.<\/p>\n

It was unclear why the exchange suffered from downtime as of press time.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, rival crypto exchanges OKX and Gate.io recently experienced<\/a> withdrawal issues due to cloud service provider issues.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
