Furthermore, the party aims to protect Bitcoin mining rights, the right to self-custody crypto, and the right to perform transactions without government control and surveillance.<\/p>\n<p>The party also intends to repeal President <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/people\/joe-biden\/\">Joe Biden's<\/a> executive order on artificial intelligence (AI), which it called &#8220;dangerous&#8221; and said will restrict AI innovation.<\/p>\n<p>The platform states that it aims to support AI development &#8220;rooted in Free Speech and Human Flourishing&#8221; in contrast to Biden's AI order, which &#8220;imposes Radical Leftwing ideas.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2>Platform reflects Trump's stance<\/h2>\n<p>The Republican draft platform broadly matches the position of its presumptive presidential nominee, <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/people\/donald-trump\/\">Donald Trump,<\/a> who has previously addressed crypto and AI issues.<\/p>\n<p>Trump has expressed opposition to CBDCs since at least <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/trump-pledges-to-block-central-bank-digital-currency-if-elected-for-second-term\/\">January<\/a>. On <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/trump-vows-to-make-us-a-bitcoin-mining-powerhouse-if-re-elected\/\">June 12<\/a>, he said that he intends for the US to dominate Bitcoin mining and called mining a protection against CBDCs.<\/p>\n<p>At the recent <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/trump-reaffirms-pledge-to-end-bidens-war-on-crypto-at-wisconsin-rally\/\">San Francisco<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/trump-reaffirms-pledge-to-end-bidens-war-on-crypto-at-wisconsin-rally\/\">Wisconsin<\/a> events, Trump pledged to counter the Democratic party's anti-crypto policies more broadly.
