According to DeFillama data, Aave is the second-largest DeFi protocol, with over $18 billion in total value locked (TVL).<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, Sky is known for issuing the <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/multi-collateral-dai\/\">DAI<\/a> stablecoin, which is now rebranded as USDS. The DeFi lender has over $6 billion locked.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/people\/rune-christensen\/\">Rune Christensen<\/a>, Sky's co-founder, commented:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;<span class=\"css-1jxf684 r-bcqeeo r-1ttztb7 r-qvutc0 r-poiln3 r-b88u0q\">Sky<\/span><span class=\"css-1jxf684 r-bcqeeo r-1ttztb7 r-qvutc0 r-poiln3\"> and <\/span><span class=\"css-1jxf684 r-bcqeeo r-1ttztb7 r-qvutc0 r-poiln3 r-b88u0q\">Aave<\/span><span class=\"css-1jxf684 r-bcqeeo r-1ttztb7 r-qvutc0 r-poiln3\"> communities coming together for the shared benefit of all of DeFi &#8211; the biggest and best of savings deeply integrated with the biggest and best in borrow & lending.&#8221;<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>Collaboration details<\/h2>\n<p>The Sky Aave Force's <a href=\"https:\/\/governance.aave.com\/t\/temp-check-onboard-usds-and-susds-to-aave-v3\/18806?u=phoenixlabs\">proposal<\/a> involves integrating USDS and Savings USDS (sUSDS) into Aave V3, offering native token rewards, and establishing a new Spark.Fi\/Aave market for seamless interactions and exclusive benefits.<\/p>\n<p>Sky's proposal also included provisions that sUSDS supplies on Aave V3 Main Market qualify for the SPK pre-farming airdrop program, offering 3.33 million SPK tokens monthly (50% of SparkLend). It <a href=\"https:\/\/forum.makerdao.com\/t\/spark-proposal-for-integrations-into-aave\/25005\">stated<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;This program will help Sky to boost adoption of USDS after launch, and the incentives program will boost Aave\u2019s TVL and revenue by attracting new borrowers.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Additionally, the proposal recommends deploying a USDS D3M to the <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/aave-dao-evaluates-joining-lido-alliance-to-boost-staked-ethereum-market\/\">Aave Lido Market<\/a> with an initial debt ceiling of $100 million to drive mass adoption.
