The offering brought in close to $1.1 billion, valuing the company at roughly $6.9 billion at the time of listing.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1341\" data-end=\"1550\">Since going public, Circle\u2019s stock has <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/ark-invest-dumps-51m-in-circle-shares-amid-400-rally-and-valuation-concerns\/\">significantly climbed by more than 500%<\/a> to an all-time high above $200. The rally has also helped <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/insights\/circles-stock-rally-propels-valuation-to-nearly-50-billion\/\">propel the stablecoin issuer's valuation<\/a> to nearly $50 billion.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1341\" data-end=\"1550\">Without Circle\u2019s IPO, the total raised in June would have hovered around $400 million.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1341\" data-end=\"1550\">However, the broader wave of funding underlines a growing appetite among investors to back crypto innovations amid improving sentiment in the digital asset space.<\/p>\n<p>For context, <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/eigenlayer\/\">EigenLayer<\/a> secured the second-largest funding round of the month. The <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/ethereum\/\">Ethereum<\/a> restaking protocol <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/a16z-backs-eigenlayers-eigencloud-rollout-with-70-million-eigen-investment\/\">attracted $70 million<\/a> from <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/a16z\/\">Andreessen Horowitz (a16z)<\/a>, supporting the launch of EigenCloud and ecosystem growth.<\/p>\n<p>The venture capital firm a16z also led a $33 million investment in Yupp, a platform helping users discover and test AI models for free.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, other significant funding rounds the industry recorded this month include a $40 million raise for security firm Hypernative, $30 million for crypto infrastructure provider Turnkey, $22 million for <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/plasma-raises-500-million-partners-with-aave-to-transform-stablecoin-market\/\">stablecoin project<\/a> Noah, and $20 million for OneBalance, a platform focused on simplifying crypto\u2019s fragmented user experience.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Venture capital activity in the crypto space has seen a significant rebound this month, with total investments crossing $1.5 billion by June 20, according to DeFiLlama data.
