The new clearance allows it to offer the same product to American brokerages and fintech apps through APIs rather than a direct-to-consumer portal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CEO Gabriel Otte said the company has lined up undisclosed integration partners and will route trades to registered market centers while settling token issuances on a public blockchain.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Tokenized stocks<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tokenizing equities converts conventional shares into transferable digital tokens recorded on a blockchain.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proponents argue the structure trims clearing fees, accelerates settlement to near real-time, and supports round-the-clock trading.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dinari\u2019s registration satisfies long-standing SEC requirements that secondary trading in securities, whether tokenized or not, run through licensed intermediaries.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coinbase and <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/kraken\/\">Kraken<\/a> are also pursuing this approach. Kraken announced the launch of a<\/span> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/kraken-to-launch-24-7-trading-for-tokenized-us-stocks-via-solana\/\">24\/7 trading platform for US stocks<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, while Coinbase recently<\/span> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coinbase-seeking-sec-approval-to-offer-blockchain-based-equities\/\">sought permission from the SEC<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to conduct the same offering.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Competitive backdrop and remaining hurdles<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Despite the push from companies to offer tokenized equities, hurdles persist. The World Economic Forum last month flagged shallow secondary-market liquidity and the absence of unified technical standards as chief obstacles to mainstream use.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Otte acknowledged those gaps but said Dinari\u2019s on-chain settlement framework aims to provide a template regulators, and industry groups can reference when drafting interoperability guidelines.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unlike retail brokerages such as <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/robinhood\/\">Robinhood<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/charles-schwab\/\">Charles Schwab<\/a>, Dinari embeds its trading and custody stack inside third-party platforms.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Otte described the strategy as a \u201cwhite label rails\u201d model designed to let fintech firms bolt tokenized equities onto existing mobile apps without building blockchain infrastructure in-house.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dinari\u2019s broker-dealer will begin customer testing after it finishes control-location attestations and vault integrations required under SEC Rule 15c3-3.
