This extends a growth trend that has seen the shares rise more than 34% this month.<\/p>\n<h2>Robinhood's new product offering<\/h2>\n<p>On June 30, Robinhood revealed plans to launch a Layer 2 blockchain built on the <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/arbitrum\/\">Arbitrum<\/a> network. This blockchain is designed to enhance <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/ethereum\/\">Ethereum's<\/a> scalability while supporting the tokenization of real-world assets.<\/p>\n<p>The platform will offer features such as 24\/7 trading, seamless bridging, and self-custody, reinforcing Robinhood\u2019s shift towards becoming a more comprehensive platform that integrates traditional finance and crypto-based products.<\/p>\n<p>As part of this expansion, Robinhood plans to offer over 200 US stocks and ETFs on the Arbitrum network. This will allow eligible European customers to access these assets without incurring commission fees or added spreads.<\/p>\n<p>The company\u2019s CEO, <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/people\/vladimir-tenev\/\">Vlad Tenev<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/vladtenev\/status\/1939713633392480417\">demonstrated<\/a> the new service at an event in Cannes, France, showcasing the real-world application by executing a stock token transaction for <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/openai\/\">OpenAI<\/a> on the Arbitrum network.<\/p>\n<h2>Perpetual futures<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1517\" data-end=\"1763\">In addition to tokenized stocks, Robinhood is preparing to launch crypto perpetual futures in the European market by the end of the summer. These futures will allow traders to gain continuous exposure to crypto, with leverage of up to 3x.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1517\" data-end=\"1763\">The firm stated that the orders for the new product are routed through <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/bitstamp\/\">Bitstamp\u2019s<\/a> perpetual futures exchange.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1765\" data-end=\"1984\">Robinhood also introduced crypto staking services for US customers, starting with Ethereum and <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/solana\/\">Solana<\/a>.
