There's a bundle there, and we're working our way through what that means and how to do it.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>Why these partnerships matter for Cardano<\/h2>\n<p>USD1 is the stablecoin project developed under World Liberty Financial, a DeFi initiative backed by US President Donald Trump.<\/p>\n<p>Despite launching recently, the asset has risen to become <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/trumps-world-liberty-financial-mints-10-of-usd1-supply-for-treasury\/\">the sixth-largest stablecoin<\/a> by market capitalization and has already seen significant institutional adoption through deals involving Binance and Bullish exchange.<\/p>\n<p>Considering this, such an integration would bring liquidity and credibility to <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/cardano-considers-offloading-100m-in-ada-to-jumpstart-lagging-defi-and-stablecoin-ecosystem\/\">Cardano\u2019s stablecoin and DeFi markets,<\/a> which have struggled significantly over the years.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Aave is the largest decentralized lending protocol with nearly $40 billion in total value locked. Its inclusion could transform Cardano\u2019s relatively underdeveloped lending sector, offering new opportunities for users and developers.<\/p>\n<p>Chainlink provides another critical component. The oracle network <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/76-of-japans-banks-eye-tokenized-securities-as-sbi-bets-on-chainlink\/\">connects blockchains to real-world data,<\/a> ensuring smart contracts execute securely and accurately.<\/p>\n<p>Hoskinson stressed that the absence of Chainlink support has already hurt Cardano\u2019s visibility. He pointed to the US Department of Commerce, which bypassed Cardano when <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/america-makes-gdp-data-immutable-by-publishing-it-on-bitcoin-ethereum-and-solana\/\">distributing economic data feeds<\/a> because the blockchain lacked integration with Chainlink and Pyth.<\/p>\n<p>Considering this, he said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;It\u2019s getting harder because the competition is getting harder, and it\u2019s frustrating to me because obvious things to do\u2014like integrations with other ecosystems\u2014the absence of those integrations means we get left behind.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has outlined plans to pursue partnerships with major protocols, including Aave, Chainlink, and World Liberty Financial\u2019s USD1 stablecoin.
