In a breakthrough for global markets, President Donald Trump has secured a far-reaching deal for US-China trade. The agreement with Chinese President Xi Jinping de-escalates tensions between the world's two largest economies.<\/p>\n

According to the official White House fact sheet<\/a>, the agreement includes China's commitment to suspend new export controls on rare earths and critical minerals. The US-China trade agreement also guarantees China\u2019s purchase of at least 12 million metric tons of U.S. soybeans by year-end. China will also purchase at least 25 million metric tons annually through 2028.\u200b<\/p>\n
