He did not disclose the studio's current cash balance or monthly burn.<\/p>\n<p>Illuvium last published a monthly burn figure in December 2024, putting <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.illuvium.io\/news\/overworld\/illuvium-overworld-a-new-dawn\">the cost at about $900,000<\/a> after its administrators stopped taking salaries and cut overall wages by another $85,000. It also said then that it expected to seek additional capital around March 2025, but <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/KieranWarwick\/status\/2090711938548535639\">Warwick did not say<\/a> whether new financing contributed to the latest runway calculation.<\/p>\n<p>The new estimate prompted a social media claim that <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/illuvium\/\">Illuvium<\/a> had raised $132 million. Capital Brief reported about $60 million in cumulative funding in 2024, while an Immutable release reported <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/illuvium-land-sale-powered-by-immutable-x-sells-out-and-becomes-one-of-the-most-successful-nft-sales-in-history-with-72-million-in-land-sold-301564609.html\">$72 million in gross NFT land sales<\/a> in 2022. Adding customer land-sale proceeds to reported funding conflates two different categories.<\/p>\n<p>Illuvium's recent governance disclosures do not provide a current financial breakdown. July council minutes placed discussions of <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.illuvium.io\/governance\/imc-meeting-minutes-2-july-2026\">operational costs and staff restructuring<\/a>, as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.illuvium.io\/governance\/imc-meeting-minutes-22-july-2026\">treasury and revenue distribution<\/a>, under nondisclosure agreements.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"cs-article-embed\">\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/the-blockchain-gaming-evolution-will-take-center-stage-in-2025\/\" class=\"cs-article-embed__link\">\n        <div class=\"cs-article-embed__body\">\n            <span class=\"cs-article-embed__related-reading\">Related Reading<\/span>\n            <h3 class=\"cs-article-embed__title\">The blockchain gaming evolution will take center stage in 2025<\/h3>\n        <\/div>\n        <span class=\"cs-article-embed__arrow\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n            <i class=\"fa-light fa-arrow-up-right\"><\/i>\n        <\/span>\n    <\/a>\n<\/div>\n\n<h2>The MMO absorbs most of the remaining team<\/h2>\n<p>Official council minutes from February said the studio had <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.illuvium.io\/governance\/imc-meeting-minutes-23-february-2026\">reduced the MMO's scope<\/a> and was targeting a December 2026 launch.<\/p>\n<p>The plan emphasized reusing existing assets, procedural dungeons and boss encounters, while scheduling player-versus-player features and additional combat polish for after launch.<\/p>\n<p>Illuvium is also aiming to release several smaller products in 2026, Warwick said. The list includes a final Celebrations collection for Beyond Set 1, Beyond Chaos, Primal Tactica and Loadout.<\/p>\n<p>Warwick said an outside studio developing Primal Tactica under an Illuvium intellectual-property license would show the game at Steam Next Fest in October, with most revenue going to Illuvium. <a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/4786060\/Primal_Tactica\/\">Steam lists Primal Tactica<\/a> for early access in the fourth quarter.<\/p>\n<p>Warwick said Loadout would distribute tokens to the Illuvium staking contract to encourage ILV and ILV-<a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/ethereum\/\">ETH<\/a> staking, but it has not yet announced a launch date. <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/illuvium\/\">ILV was down 67.55%<\/a>
