Gateway treats deposits across supported networks as a single spendable balance per asset, reducing the need to keep funds ready on both chains, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.circle.com\/fr\/blog\/circle-gateway-now-supports-cirbtc-and-eurc\">Circle\u2019s announcement<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The expansion also adds the EURC stablecoin alongside USDC. Circle\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.circle.com\/gateway\/concepts\/non-usdc-assets\">asset-specific documentation<\/a> lists cirBTC on Ethereum and Arc mainnet. EURC is supported on those networks plus Avalanche, Base, Solana and World Chain.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"cs-article-embed\">\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/circle-launches-24-7-stablecoin-fx-engine-as-it-chases-a-slice-of-the-10-trillion-currency-market\/\" class=\"cs-article-embed__link\">\n        <div class=\"cs-article-embed__body\">\n            <span class=\"cs-article-embed__related-reading\">Related Reading<\/span>\n            <h3 class=\"cs-article-embed__title\">Circle launches 24\/7 stablecoin FX engine as it chases a slice of the $10 trillion currency market<\/h3>\n        <\/div>\n        <span class=\"cs-article-embed__arrow\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n            <i class=\"fa-light fa-arrow-up-right\"><\/i>\n        <\/span>\n    <\/a>\n<\/div>\n\n<p>Gateway keeps a separate balance for each asset. A cirBTC transfer burns the token on the source network and mints cirBTC on the destination; it neither converts the balance into USDC nor transfers native Bitcoin. For an exchange or wallet serving both chains, Circle says the shared inventory can be deployed where a withdrawal or payment needs to land.<\/p>\n<h2>Fast access follows deposit finality<\/h2>\n<p>Circle advertises cross-chain access in under 500 milliseconds once the deposit has finalized and the balance is established. That estimate excludes the initial funding wait and is not guaranteed. Its <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.circle.com\/gateway\/references\/supported-blockchains\">confirmation table<\/a> lists an average of roughly 13 to 19 minutes for an Ethereum deposit before Gateway updates the balance or issues an attestation.<\/p>\n<p>A separate <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.circle.com\/gateway\">seven-day withdrawal option<\/a> lets holders reclaim funds directly from the Gateway Wallet contract without relying on Circle\u2019s API. Circle\u2019s asset documentation explicitly extends that withdrawal delay to cirBTC. Access to cirBTC through <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.circle.com\/assets\/what-is-cirbtc\">Circle Mint<\/a>, however, is offered to qualified businesses. Withdrawing cirBTC from Gateway leaves the holder with the token; redeeming it for native Bitcoin uses a <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.circle.com\/circle-mint\/quickstarts\/mint-and-redeem-cirbtc\">separate Mint process<\/a> in which Circle burns cirBTC and releases BTC to a Bitcoin address.<\/p>\n<p>Costs also depend on the operation. Circle\u2019s announcement says Gateway fees for cirBTC and EURC are waived on Arc at launch and quotes a one-basis-point rate outside Arc. Those rates are not an all-in transfer cost: <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.circle.com\/gateway\/references\/fees\">Circle\u2019s fee documentation<\/a> lists gas and optional forwarding charges too. cirBTC transfer costs are paid in cirBTC.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"cs-article-embed\">\n    <a
