On Aug. 22, Blocktrade\u00a0Technology and Valens Bank confirmed a partnership that will give banking clients access to crypto fund trading.<\/p>\n<h2>The Growing Prevalence of Crypto Funds<\/h2>\n<p>Artificial\u00a0intelligence-based trading software company Blocktrade Technology Ltd. has partnered with Valens Bank to enable crypto fund trading for banking clients.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_76856\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-76856\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-76856\" src=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/3-factors-growth-crypto-social-300x158.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"158\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-76856\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Related:\u00a0<a title=\"Three Factors Fueling the Surprising Growth of Crypto Funds\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/three-factors-fueling-the-surprising-growth-of-crypto-funds\/\">Three Factors Fueling the Surprising Growth of Crypto Funds<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The partnership stipulates that Blocktrade Technology will license its BTT Crypto Trading Toolbox software exclusively to Valens Bank, allowing clients to trade select cryptocurrency funds.<\/p>\n<p>Blocktrade Technology is a majority-owned subsidiary of\u00a0Stockholm IT Ventures AB (SITV), a Swedish\u00a0technology company specializing in blockchain development, and is now seeking to expand into financial services.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership marks the second agreement between Valens Bank and SITV.<\/p>\n<p>In a press release, Fredrik Waijnstad, managing director at Blocktrade Technology, said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe are proud to deliver our first license deal with Valens Bank. The agreement is perfectly in line with Blocktrade Technology\u2019s strategic goals and approach for Institutional investors and banks who aim to offer great returns on investments.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Valens Bank, an international payments and financial services startup, will give retail investors unique access to cryptocurrency funds trading that is not currently offered elsewhere. Blocktrade Technology will also receive a 1.5 percent yearly license fee on all &#8220;deployed capital&#8221; generated from the trading program.<\/p>\n<p>Expressing optimism for their new partnership, Torben Pedersen, director of Valens Bank, noted:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIt\u2019s an exciting time to partner with Stockholm IT Ventures and Blocktrade Technology\u2019s innovative approach to the crypto space.\u00a0We are confident that this software will offer great value to clients and give pro-traders the market edge all are looking for.
