With its coveted Global Online Poker Championship (GOPC) still underway and players stepping up their pursuit of a share of its $50 million prize pool, CoinPoker has unveiled what will be the next major tournament: “The One.”
This new tournament features a $5 million prize pool and is scheduled to run from October 4 to October 12, 2026, with a schedule that accommodates players across all time zones.
But its biggest pull is that the eventual winner is guaranteed at least $1 million, easily making one of the biggest crypto giveaways to watch out for in October.

Players can book their qualification through satellites, starting September 28th, about a week before “The One’s” Day 1 flights begin.
CoinPoker to Host $5M GTD The One Tournament After GOPC
One player will become a crypto millionaire this October, courtesy of CoinPoker’s upcoming “The One” tournament.
This special event will follow the ongoing GOPC, which has so far been packed with dramatic moments as players battle for a share of its $50 million prize pool.
In fact, satellites will begin the same day the GOPC concludes, so players can get to work securing their spots in the event.
Among “The One’s” key highlights are its $5 million prize pool and $1 million top prize, all from a $250 buy-in.
Interestingly, no previous CoinPoker tournament has offered a guarantee of this magnitude, making it the largest event in the platform’s history.
The buildup will feature multiple satellite events to give players with small bankrolls a chance at qualifying for the main tournament without putting up the $250 buy-in.
Players can enter these qualifiers via freerolls, $0.10 step satellites, and $5.50 direct satellites. This structure gives them an accessible path to becoming a millionaire, regardless of their bankroll levels.
In total, there will be twenty six Day 1 flights, three per day to accommodate different time zones. Players can enter as many Day 1 flights as they want, but those who qualify for Day 2 multiple times will advance their largest chip stack.
Another notable aspect of “The One” is what CoinPoker calls “Flight Buy-In Back,” designed to deliver a cash refund of the $250 buy-in to every player who qualifies for Day 2.
Also, throughout the Day 1 flights, CoinPoker will run a daily re-entry promo, giving three players with the most real-money re-entries a free ticket to the tournament.
Standings reset automatically everyday at 00:00 UTC until the end of Day 1 flights on October 11.
Survivors will combine for Day 2 on October 12, the exact day the tournament concludes.
Alongside the million-dollar prize, the winner will also receive an engraved physical trophy and its digital version in the CoinPoker’s Trophy Cabinet, adding an extra touch of prestige to the achievement.
After all, it is branded as an annual event, and anyone who wins the inaugural edition will forever be remembered as its first champion.
