Kusama's last post or interaction on X was May 13, 2026. His long absence has not gone unnoticed by members of the community, especially after some slight updates to his profile sparked speculation about what he might be doing.
Kusama updated his X bio to simply "Polish" and his location to "Close" in September 2026. The changes prompted speculation that a project could be approaching completion. However, Kusama has not confirmed whether the updates relate to Shiba Inu, his independent artificial intelligence initiative or another undertaking, amid his ongoing silence on social media.
