Reality, a platform for bringing publicly listed equities onchain, Bitget, the world's largest Universal Exchange (UEX), and Aurelion (NASDAQ: AURE), a Nasdaq-listed gold treasury company, have announced a strategic partnership tied to the proposed launch of rAURE.
Reality plans to issue rAURE through its tokenization infrastructure, with each token designed to be backed 1:1 by an AURE share held in custody. A mint-and-redeem mechanism is intended to connect the token with the underlying equity, establishing a verifiable link between the onchain asset and the shares it represents.
The proposed launch would bring a tokenized representation of a Nasdaq-listed gold treasury company to Web3 markets. Aurelion holds XAU₮, Tether Gold, as its primary treasury asset, linking the planned token to a publicly traded company whose treasury strategy centers on tokenized gold.
"Bringing rAURE onchain is about making this exposure available through the infrastructure digital-asset users already use," said Alice Li, Head of Reality. She added that connecting the token to AURE shares and listing it on Bitget would expand distribution and access to liquidity.

Aurelion CEO Frank said the company aims to make gold-backed exposure more usable through financial and technology infrastructure, including systems for managing gold-backed risk and authorizing payments against gold collateral. He also outlined plans involving a gold-backed payment card issued by the company's licensed partners.
The proposed rAURE launch extends that approach into tokenized equity markets, connecting AURE shares with infrastructure used by digital asset traders.
Bitget to provide primary trading venue for rAURE
Once launched, rAURE is expected to trade on Bitget alongside other tokenized equities and digital assets. Eligible users in permitted jurisdictions would be able to trade the token 24 hours a day, seven days a week, subject to applicable eligibility and jurisdictional requirements.
That availability would extend trading access beyond conventional U.S. equity market hours, although it would not change the trading hours or other market conditions governing the underlying AURE shares.
"Adding more assets only matters if they give traders something new," Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said. "rAURE will bring together a Nasdaq-listed equity and a treasury strategy built around tokenized gold, creating a different kind of exposure for our users."
The partnership assigns distinct roles to the three companies. Aurelion is the issuer of the underlying publicly listed shares and maintains a treasury strategy focused on tokenized gold. Reality plans to issue rAURE and maintain the infrastructure connecting the token to the underlying equity. Bitget is expected to serve as the token's primary trading venue.
The planned launch would add to Reality's rToken offering, which brings publicly listed securities onchain through tokens linked to underlying assets. For Bitget, the partnership would expand its tokenized asset selection within its broader multi-asset trading ecosystem.
The companies have outlined the intended backing and trading structure, but the announcement does not establish a launch date. Availability will depend on the token's launch and applicable jurisdictional restrictions.
