The Grayscale Ethereum Staking Mini ETF (ETH), formerly Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust, holds ether and stakes part of its holdings. Its shares trade on NYSE Arca. It is a separate fund from the Grayscale Ethereum Staking ETF, which uses the ticker ETHE.
How the Fund Works
The fund provides Ethereum exposure through brokerage shares. It manages custody and staking on behalf of the trust, while retail shareholders trade shares rather than withdraw ether into their own wallets.
Fees and Risks
The annual sponsor fee is 0.15%. A separate 6% deduction applies to staking rewards. Brokerage commissions and bid/ask spreads can also affect an investor’s costs.
The ETH ticker identifies this fund and should not be confused with directly holding ether. Investors remain exposed to ether price losses, custody risk, staking slashing and withdrawal delays. The share price can trade above or below the fund’s net asset value.
